Starting with the cons, why does any radio made today have analog tuning? Have these things been laying around in a basement for 20 years? May very well be since the manual includes schematics. When was the last time you saw schematics in an owner manual?And as a quibble, why no equalizer? It has a bass boost, which works fine, but the Surround Sound feature eludes me. May be bad ears, but I don't hear a difference.
On the plus side it's compact and has the features I wanted: radio, CD, cassette player. The speakers come off and I keep them under the TV table. The sound quality is good enough, though not great (about that equalizer). Lastly, you can lock the speakers in place, throw in a few batteries and you're good to go.
Bottom line, it seems overpriced for what you get, but it's worth 3 stars.
